Tornado warning has ended, severe thunderstorm warning remains

Severe Thunderstorm Warning | Storm fronts moving through mid-state until 8 p.m.

A tornado warning has been issued for Lancaster, Schuylkill, York, Dauphin, Cumberland and Lebanon counties until 2:45 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm watch has also been issued until 8:00 p.m. for Lancaster County.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for York and Lancaster counties today.

The watch is in effect from 2 p.m. on Monday afternoon through 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

NWS predicts thunderstorms with torrential downpours moving through the region in the afternoon, which could potentially cause flash flooding.

NWS is also predicting damaging winds 60 mph or greater and large hail (over 1 inch in diameter) this afternoon.
