Connect With Jasmine Brooks

Jasmine Brooks claims to have started her career as a young girl with only a makeshift microphone, also known as a hairbrush. Her love for connecting with people and telling their stories steered her directly into a journalism career at Bloomsburg University. (Go Huskies!)

After graduating college in 2010, Jasmine got her start at PBC Radio in Pottsville and soon began her television career at SSPTV in Hazleton. Most recently, Jasmine brought her energetic personality to the anchor desk at Eyewitness News in Wilkes-Barre weekday mornings. Throughout her time there, Jasmine also co-hosted a lifestyle show and reported.

Although her love for her home state of Pennsylvania has inspired Jasmine to build a successful career in the Keystone State, she has taken her skills abroad.

In August of 2016, Jasmine traveled to Rio De Janeiro to cover the Summer Olympic Games for television stations nationwide.

Jasmine married her hometown sweetheart on New Year’s Eve of 2016. She is elated to now call Harrisburg home, where most of her family also lives. Jasmine is a huge animal lover with plenty of her own pets and will never say no to trying new cuisine.
