Hallie Jacobs

Hallie Jacobs joined the CBS21 News team in May 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist for the weekday and weekend news.

Hallie is also Miss Philadelphia 2022 for the Miss America Organization. She has donated more than 5,000 children’s books to schools and visited more than 100 classrooms across Pennsylvania through her nonprofit, The Literacy Dream Project.

She graduated with a bachelor's in Media Studies and Production with a minor in Political Science from Temple University in May 2022. She worked as an anchor, reporter, and weather forecaster for Temple Update, the university's news station. She was also a member of Alpha Phi Omega and Delta Phi Epsilon and performed as Ariel in A Moment of Magic. As an intern at FOX45, the Philadelphia Citizen and Seacrest Studios, Hallie interviewed celebrities and created/produced a TV show called “Magical Moments.”

Hallie enjoys telling stories through video. Her passion is using a person's emotions to capture the heart of a story. She believes her stories give viewers an understanding of the world around them and allow each person to grow and prosper. As a Multimedia Journalist, Hallie’s goal is to educate people through storytelling.
