Elise Person

Elise Person joined CBS 21 in September 2022. Prior to this, she was a news anchor and field reporter for KRCG 13 in Jefferson City, Missouri, where she covered breaking news, politics, and the stories of people that make up the Midwest.

Growing up in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Elise always dreamed of becoming a broadcast journalist. She always had a passion for news and sports getting early experience in New York at NBC News at Rockefeller Center and SportsNet New York. She’s now living out her childhood dream as a Multi-Media Journalist here at CBS 21 and is so happy to call Harrisburg home.

Elise is a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan. In fact, she began her career covering the Philadelphia Eagles as a junior reporter.

As a student-athlete, she graduated magna cum laude with a journalism degree from Long Island University, where she was a Division I collegiate women’s lacrosse player and team captain.

Elise is thrilled to explore and fully immerse herself in the history, individuals, and the beauty that is Central Pennsylvania.
