Posted by: Jason Bristol

HARRISBURG -- Remember the York City Cyclones?

The Cyclones were one of 17 teams in the Eastern Basketball Alliance (EBA) in 1997-98 and were run by former Millersville basketball player Kerry Kinard.

The team finished second in the EBA's Southern Division behind the Lancaster Storm (11-4) with a record of 10-5.

The Cyclones included Chris Woodard (York), Brett McKay (Bishop McDevitt/St. Joseph's), and Jonathan Raab (Eastern York/Drexel), according to this 1998 story by former CBS 21 News reporter Mark Green.

Kinard is now Director of Scouting for Winner's Circle Basketball Academy and is based in Philadelphia, according to his Linkedin page. He has also scouted for the Utah Jazz and Charlotte Bobcats.
