You shouldn't leave your kids or pets in the car, during summer or winter
BOISE, I.D. (CNN) —
You may think of a car as shelter from the weather, but when it comes to the cold it is anything but.
"You want to be especially careful with very young children. Babies and infants have a very difficult time regulating their temperature," explained pediatrician Dr. Jennifer King.
The same goes for your pets.
Eventually all their systems will start to shut down and that's when they are in danger of having organ systems fail or stop.
