Know Before You Go| Laws about your car, snow you need to know before hitting the road

State law requires drivers to have a clear unobstructed view of the road, all snow has to be cleaned off vehicle roofs and windows before you hit the highway.

Any snow or ice left on your car could be dangerous for other drivers. You can be fined up to $1,000 if ice or snow causes death or injury to another driver.

It's seems tempting, but it's against the law to warm up your car and leave it unattended. It also makes your vehicle an easy target for thieves.
