Farm Show food court shows off Pennsylvania's agriculture

    Friday is the unofficial start of the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show! The food court opens at noon, but before then, at 11:30 a.m., the PA Dairymen’s Association will be hosting a media kickoff for the "Fill a Glass With Hope" campaign with celebrity guests including Governor Tom Wolf and former Philadelphia Eagle Jason Avant.

    PA Dairymen’s Association partnered with Feeding Pennsylvania and American Dairy Association North East to launch the F"ill a Glass with Hope" campaign. The program was the first statewide charitable fresh milk distribution program in the U.S.

    "Fill a Glass with Hope" now provides well over three million servings of milk to clients of Feeding Pennsylvania’s statewide member food banks.

    1 in 5 Pennsylvania children struggle with hunger and undernourishment. Over the past 5 years the "Fill A Glass With Hope" Campaign has helped provide 10 million servings of milk to children in Pennsylvania.

    Parking will be free at the Farm Show Complex on Friday. The Farm Show starts Saturday, January 5 and runs through Saturday, January 12
