McDonald's flips logo to honor International Women's Day
A McDonald’s in Lynwood, California is flipping its golden arches to celebrate a national holiday.
The restaurant changed the classic "m" to a "w" in honor of international women's day on March 8.
Nearly 100 other McDonald’s locations around the country will sport the flipped arches today.
All of them are owned by female operators.
The upside-down logo will also be seen on packaging, crew shirts, and hats.
