As this system exits overnight, some much colder air will rush in behind it turning any leftover rain into a wintry mix of wet snow, sleet and freezing rain by daybreak. The precipitation will shut down by 10am, but early morning travel will be tricky and if possible you may want to postpone travel plans until lunchtime.
This is complex storm system with a lot of moisture associated with it. Smaller creeks and streams will have to be watched by tomorrow morning and as the Susquehanna River ice melts, we will also be watching for any unpredictable ice jams that could disrupt the normal river flow and cause minor flood concerns.
