What to do at the PA Farm Show: Tuesday, January 8

Things to know before you go ...

  • Admission is free!
  • The best time to arrive is between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. The busiest times are weekends, and weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Only service dogs are permitted at the facility during the Farm Show. No dogs are permitted in the poultry area.
  • Dress appropriately. January can be very cold, and at times shuttle buses can be delayed due to traffic issues.

What are the show hours?

  • Friday, January 4, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. (food court only, free parking)
  • Saturday, January 5, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 6, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Monday, January 7 through Friday, January 11, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 12, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What's the parking situation?

  • There is a $15 parking fee at all Farm Show Complex-operated lots. The two Farm Show offsite parking lots available are: East of the complex at the intersection of Elmerton Avenue and Sycamore Street, parking is available every day of the show AND Harrisburg Area Community College parking lot on Wildwood Park Drive, directly North of the complex. Parking is available every day of the show.
  • Be prepared for heavy vehicle and pedestrian congestion!
  • Free shuttle service is available; shuttles are easily identified by the name of the parking lot.
  • There is a free, round-trip shuttle service available between the complex and downtown Harrisburg on weekdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m
