Two men suspected of assaulting a Pennsylvania Game Commission Officer have been arrested and face multiple charges.

Wade Michael Winemiller, of Wrightsville, Pa., and Thomas Earl Kelly Jr., of Stewartstown, Pa., were charged with assaulting the officer over the weekend.

Police say on Dec. 1, the officer was investigating a hunting violation complaint when a physical altercation broke out between the officer and two male suspects on ATVs.

The game warden ended up firing his weapon once, and the two suspects fled on ATVs towards the Arnot's Addition area.

Police say the officer was taken to Lehigh Valley Schuylkill Medical East Campus for treatment of his injuries.

Winemiller, 57, and Kelly, 57, were both charged with Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Resisting Arrest, Simple Assault, and other offenses.

Winemiller was arraigned on Dec. 3 and unable to post $150,000 bail. He was remanded to Schuylkill County Prison.

Police say Kelly was arraigned on Dec. 4 and posted bail.
