Susquehanna EMS brings Christmas to kids
A group of kids in the Hempfield School District got Christmas a little early.
On Friday they shopped and dined with members of the Susquehanna Valley EMS family.
It’s all thanks to a grant the agency got from First National Bank.
They wanted to use the money to help kids who may not get a ton of things from Santa on Christmas morning.
Paramedics and EMTs are escorting five boys around target, allowing them to pick out more than 100 dollars worth of goodies.
Target also donated 80 dollars to each of the boys to spend.
It's a great time for the kids and the EMS staff.
After shopping the kids were treated to dinner at Mods Pizza.
