Super summer weather! 80 degree temps thru the week, more humidity by weekend
PLEASANT SUMMERTIME WEATHER:
Tonight: Clear Skies and Pleasant – Low 62
Thursday: Mostly Sunny and Cooler – High 83
Friday: Sunny Skies and Nice - High 86
Saturday: Mostly Sunny with Increasing Humidity - High 86
Pleasant conditions continue into tonight giving way to mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low 80's for tomorrow. Low humidity continues through the end of the week, but begins to rise for the weekend as temperature will be close to 90.
Sitting off the Carolina Coast, Chris has strengthened to a Category 2 Hurricane but will continue to move further out over the Atlantic. Thankfully, he won't make landfall in the United States or impact our weather locally, but he will cause dangerous rip currents from North Carolina to Maine.
Expect sunshine for the upcoming weekend with a slight uptick in both the heat and the humidity. The chance for pop up afternoon thunderstorms returns Sunday and Monday, but the best chance for some more widespread showers and storms holds off until Tuesday with the passage of a cold front.
