Southwestern Regional Police officer to be reinstated after being arrested for harassment
SPRING GROVE, Pa —
The Police Chief announced today that a Southwestern Regional officer will be reinstated this month. Officer Lindenmuth was arrested in July for harassement and placed on leave.
Officer Lindenmuth entered a no contest plea to harassment charges in York County Court and has been undergoing counseling, according to the chief.
Chief Gregory M. Bean said that Lindenmuth was given "a substantial amount of time off without pay" and that he "successfully passed rigid testing by an outside entity to assure that he is again capable at succeeding in his position."
Lindenmuth was an officer for 10 years and Chief Bean says the department will monitor his work.
