PSP: Suspect robbed two convenience stores with AR-15 rifle

State Police are investigating an armed robbery spree after a suspect robbed two convenience stores with an AR-15 rifle.

According to police, both robberies took place early Friday morning.

The first incident happened around 12:40 am at the Turkey Hill store located at 76012 Allentown Boulevard in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County.

According to police, the store was robbed by a male suspect wearing a black ski mask and armed with an AR-15 rifle. He fled on food with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second incident happened a few hours later around 2:30 am at the Sheetz store at 3625 Mountain Road in Halifax Township, Dauphin County.

Police say the same male used the same weapon during the robbery, and again fled on foot with cash.

The suspect made some changes to his clothing, adding a blue fishing style hat, white sneakers, and wore a red long sleeve shirt over his white tee shirt, according to PSP.

He is described as a white male, 6'-6'2" tall with a thin build, wearing dark pants (possibly blue jeans), a white tee shirt with a long sleeve red (Under Armor style) shirt underneath, dark sneakers and white sneakers, a black ski mask, blue hat, white gloves, and carrying a drawstring bag.
