Saturday afternoon, a police escort was held for fallen Dauphin County Probation Officer Allen Proper, who recently died in an off-duty motorcycle crash.

Countless first responders from local police and fire departments lined overpasses along Interstate 83 in Harrisburg in support of Probation Officer Allen Proper and his family.

He returned home Saturday after a police escort from Danville to a funeral home in New Cumberland.

Harrisburg Police said Probation Officer Proper will be remembered for his service and dedication to the citizens and communities he served.
