Police in Harrisburg spent part of the day on Friday back out on Logan Street where a double homicide happened on Thursday night.

Natasha Harner, 24, and Kaliah Dearing, 16, were found dead of "apparent gun shot wounds" according to police. Police were originally called to the 2200 block of Logan Street for a medical problem.

"I can't even explain the feelings," said sister Tira Johnson. "I can’t explain the words. I’m numb to the pain now. I’m numb to the pain now."

The family says that the victims were stepsisters. Young women who were very close to each other.

Cousin Corey Harner dropped off roses at a memorial that family and friends made where the shooting happened.

"They were good girls. They were doing the right things," said Harner. "They had big, huge hearts and big, huge personalities. They loved everybody."

While the family wonders why, the police are wondering who.

Police were out on the streets knocking on doors and talking to neighbors. There are still no suspects and police are asking anyone to submit their tip here.

"We just had a big family get together last week," said Harner. "Got to hug Tash, got to tell her I loved her. I didn't know it'd be the last time I'd ever do it."

There are still a lot of other unknowns in the case that need to be pieced together.
