UPDATE | Police say girl was taken from her home before being found safe

    UPDATE| Pennsylvania State Police say that through an investigation it was determined that the 4-year-old girl was taken from her residence by an unknown person or people. Police say a passerby then found her standing along the 1400 block of Harbaugh Church Road about two and half miles away from where she was taken.


    State Police confirm that the 4-year-old has been found within a mile of her home, and is safe.

    She was found at around 10 a.m.


    State Police are trying locate a missing 4-year-old girl from Franklin County.

    Troopers responded to a report of a missing girl at around 3:30 a.m. and responded to the 12000 block of Pen Mar Road in Washington Township.

    She was last seen wearing a pink silk pajamas and no shoes, according to police.

    Authorities describe her as 3 feet tall, 50 pounds, with curly blonde, shoulder length hair and blue eyes.

    Police say she was last seen on April 24 at around 7:00 p.m. and believe she may be at special risk of harm or injury.
