A Schwanksville man stopped at a gas station and ended up arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Police say that on Sept. 23 William Lingenfelter, 26, stopped at a gas station and asked a police officer who was pumping gas for change.

The officer suspected that Lingenfelter was impaired and was placed into custody.

A blood test indicated that Lingenfelter had high levels of amphetamine, methamphetamine, morphine, fentanyl and marijuana in his blood, according to police. Police also found meth and drug paraphernalia in his car.

Lingenfelter was charged with DUI and possession.
