LANCASTER COUNTY — A Lancaster man was arrested after a lengthy investigation culminated in drugs and weapons being seized from his home.
Tyshuan Williams, 27, is charged with 26 counts of person not to posses firearms, 3 counts of possession with intent to deliver(marijuana, clonazepam and alprazolam), receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Jan. 9 at 6:15 a.m., investigators searched Williams' home on the 300 block of Beaver Street.
According to police, officers took Williams into custody and found 8 bull terrier dogs inside the home.
The search yielded marijuana that was packaged for sale, 5 handguns, drug paraphernalia, a quantity of Clonazepam, Alprazolam, cocaine and over $15,000 in cash.
Investigators also searched a storage locker that Williams had rented on the 100 block of Beaver Street.
According to police, that search resulted in 21 additional firearms, consisting of a a variety of handguns, shotguns and rifles.
Williams is not allowed to own any guns due to a previous conviction.
At least one of the guns seized from the house was reported as stolen, police say.
Williams was later arraigned and committed to LCP in lieu of $300,000 bail.
