WEATHER STORY:

The chance for scattered showers and the possibility of gusty thunderstorms continues into this evening.

STORM RISK:

The threat for scattered showers and thunderstorms continues through the rest of the week. The biggest concern will be heavy downpours and gusty winds that may lead to flooding or fallen trees. By Saturday, we kick this system out giving way to more sunshine and warmer conditions.

RAIN TOTALS:

Most of Central PA is looking at a total of 1 to 2 inches of rain through Friday, with locally higher amounts possible. We will have to watch for the flash flood potential in our low lying and poor drainage areas, and we will be monitoring creek and stream levels closely. The weekend is trending both drier and warm with a possible heat wave coming for early next week.
