Elizabethtown man arrested 10 years after alleged sexual assault of a child
ELIZABETHTOWN, PA. —
An Elizabethtown man is behind bars and faces multiple charges nearly 10 years after police say he sexually assaulted a child.
52-year-old Michael Dunk was arrested on Dec. 14, 2018 after Elizabethtown police corroborated reports that he sexually assaulted the victim for several years.
Police received a report about the alleged abuse on Oct. 18.
The victim, who is now an adult, said the abuse happened on the 100 block of N. Poplar Street.
Dunk was charged with Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, two counts of indecent assault, Corruption of Minors, and Unlawful Contact with a Minor.
He was arraigned on Dec. 14 and is currently being held at Lancaster County Prison on $200,00 bail.
Charges were filed by Detective Dustan Ryan and approved by Lancaster County Assistant District Attorney Army Muller.
