Two women charged after cocaine, heroin found in a Penn Township residence

The York County Drug Task Force arrested two women after finding drugs, cash, and other drug paraphernalia in a Penn Township residence.

According to the York County District Attorney's Office, York County Drug Task Force officers went to the home of 24-year-old Katelyn Michaels on the 100 block of Breezewood Lane to serve a search warrant on June 15.

Michaels was home at the time the search warrant was served. An associated of hers, 25-year-old Chelsea Nance, of Westminster, Md., was also at the residence, according to the DA's office.

Officers seized around 50 grams of cocaine, 25 grams of heroin, drug packaging materials, and $16,000 in cash from the home, according to the DA's office. Nance's 2010 Acura TL was also seized.

Both women were charged with possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.

The Penn Township Police Department and Hanover Borough Police Department both assisted the Drug Task Force with this investigation.
