Three passengers rescued from morning crash on I-283
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. —
A crash on I-283 northbound near Exit 2 caused a significant traffic backup Friday morning after a single-car accident.
According to the Lower Swatara Fire Department, a vehicle crossed over the center median and came to stop facing southbound on top of the guardrail on the northbound side of the roadway just before 9 a.m. on Nov. 9.
Three people were inside the car when it crashed.
Lower Swatara Fire says a little giant was used to remove the all of the passengers.
The crash was cleared around 10:21 a.m., according to PennDOT.
