Consignment sale benefits babies, new parents in need

Families looking to get some Spring cleaning done had the chance to clean out their closets for a children's consignment sale Sunday -- and it was all for a good cause.

Dauphin County's semi-annual consignment sales event connects those who want to get rid of gently used children's items to those who want to purchase quality items at a fraction of the retail price.

The sale is partnered with Lifeline Pregnancy Center in Millersburg, as many unsold items will be donated to their facility where these items are given directly to those most in need of children's clothing, baby equipment and nursery items.

The event, which was held at the Harrisburg Mall, also included several presales for volunteers, consignors, first time parents, first responders and military members.
