Across Harrisburg, this weekend, you may have seen blue ribbons tied to lampposts and stores with blue lights.

All of these decorations mark the start of Child Abuse Prevention Month in Pennsylvania.

The Blue Ribbon is the national symbol for child abuse prevention.

The PA Family Support Alliance, the group placing flags on Saturday, also planted 46 black flags-one to honor each child killed by abuse in Pennsylvania.
