Coroner determines death of 5-year-old 'suspicious'
York, Pa. —
The York County Coroner has determined the cause of Preston Hasselberger's death is 'multiple injuries, suspicious'.
Family gave us this statement “Right now we don't want to comment on anything due to the investigation, we are trying to remain strong and fight for justice for my precious little guy.”
The investigation into his death continues.
Preston, a five-year-old from York County, died Tuesday night after reportedly falling down as set of stairs.
According to the York County coroner the boy reportedly fell down stair at his home in York Township. After the fall, the boy was found unresponsive and was transported to York Hospital
Despite medical attention the boy was pronounced at York Hospital at 5:51 PM Tuesday night.
The York County Coroner identified the boy as Preston Hasselberger, of the 200 block of Dade Court in Dallastown.
An autopsy for the 5-year-old was scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
