17-year-old killed in Newberry Township crash, coroner IDs victims

Fatal Crash (MGN)

The York County Coroner has identified the two victims of a two-car crash on the 100 block of Yocumtown Road in Newberry Township Wednesday night.

17-year-old Elijah Lehman, of New Cumberland, and 21-year-old Matthew Stahl, most recently of Etters, were killed in the crash.

The coroner says Lehman died at York Hospital and Stahl was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both Lehman and Stahl were driving at the time of the accident, which happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Lehman was reportedly driving a 2010 Ford Edge at a high rate of speed eastbound on Yocumtown Road when he entered the westbound lane and struck Stahl's car.

According to Newberry Township Police, a Stahl had a 21-year-old female passenger in his car, a 2018 Lexus sedan.

She was helped out of the car by bystanders and taken to a local hospital where she's listed in stable condition.

Newberry Township Police is investigating.
