Doughnut Day | Where to get free donuts today


The first Friday in June is National Doughnut Day!

It was established in 1938 by the Salvation Army to honor the "Doughnut Girls" who gave away free coffee and doughnuts to soldiers in the front lines during WWI and WWII.

Many retailers celebrate the day with free treats, here's where to get a doughnut to celebrate the day:

Duck Donuts

Customers will receive a free made-to-order doughnut of their choice with any purchase. You can find locations here.

At participating locations customers can get a free classic doughnut of their choice with the purchase of any beverage. You can find locations here.


Sells cake donuts at the Broad Street Market on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Fractured Prune

Tom & Chee

Customers can order a $2 classic grilled cheese donut or a $4 fancy grilled cheese donut, including the S'more, The King, Choco Bacon Bliss and Strawberry Lemonade . Find locations here.
