Crayola announces that it will retire one of its crayons from the 24-count box

Crayola has announced that they will be retiring a color from the 24-count Crayon Box on Friday.

It's the first time in their over 100 year history that the company has retired a crayon from the box.

The announcement will be made on Facebook live on Friday morning from New York City.

Which ever color is retired will be going to the company's Color Hall of Fame.

The current box includes shades of red, yellow, blue, brown, orange, green, violet, black, carnation pink, yellow orange, blue green, red violet, red orange, yellow green, blue violet, white, violet red, dandelion, cerulean, apricot, scarlet, green yellow, indigo and gray.
