The winds will die down and under sunny skies our temperatures today will be in the low 40’s.
Next Weather Maker: High pressure takes control of our skies heading into the weekend delivering us a nice warm up. High temperatures tomorrow will soar into the upper 40’s to near 50° in some spots. Look for some additional clouds on Sunday but it will remain well above average with a high once again around 50°.
Watching The Susquehanna River: We are anticipating some showers to arrive by Monday afternoon/evening, so with the warmer temperatures and rain Susquehanna River Ice will once again have to be watched closely for any potential ice jams and flooding. Ice jams are very unpredictable and can cause quick fluctuations in river levels, while there is no forecast flooding at this time the First Warning Weather team while continue to monitor river levels through the weekend!
