UPDATED: Police called to scene of reported shooting in Lancaster City

A 15-year-old girl shot in the head Wednesday night will be okay. But the shooter remains on the run.
Lancaster Police say the teen was transported to Hershey Medical Center and they say she is now in stable condition.
The shooting happened just after nine last night in the 700 block of E. Fulton Street.
It occurred inside a residence and witnesses say she knows the shooter.
We're told officers immediately began to administer first aid until medical personnel arrived.
She was first taken to Lancaster General and then transported to Hershey Medical Center.
Lancaster City Police say this is an ongoing investigation; they are working on several leads to identify the shooter.
Neighbors who heard the police responding to the incident say they're concerned about the violence in the city.

UPDATED: 10:37 P.M. -- A person claiming to be the cousin of the teen girl shot in Lancaster told CBS 21 the girl was taken to Hershey Med Center for treatment.
Other witnesses have said the girl was shot by her boyfriend, but police have not confirmed that information at this time.
LANCASTER -- Fire and police are on the scene of a reported shooting in the city of Lancaster.
The reported incident occurred around 9:05 p.m. in the 700 block of East Fulton Street.
About 15 minutes beforehand, Lancaster City Police reported hearing numerous shots only blocks away in the area of Mifflin Street and East End Avenue.
