UPDATE: Missing York College student subject of police investigation for missing money

Reported by: Christina Butler

UPDATED 4:47 P.M. -- Police have confirmed that Aaron Frishkorn has been found in Canada.

He was located in Niagara Falls. No further information is available at this time.

YORK -- A police investigation into a missing York College student has taken a surprising turn.

Police now say they're looking for senior Aaron Frishkorn in connection with missing money taken from a college organization he's a part of.

Frishkorn hasn't been seen since Monday morning, and college leaders and friends are calling it out of character for him.

As recently as Wednesday morning, there were indications Frishkorn is alive and on the move.
Frishkorn, a sports management major, is the president of the student-run Sports Management Student Association.

Students on campus told CBS 21 that Frishkorn disappeared just as police were going to open an investigation into funds missing from the Sports Management Student Association treasury.

College leaders and friends have said that even if Frishkorn disappeared by his own choosing, they want him to know that the college wants him back safely, and will stand by him.
