Brandi Proctor is the morning traffic anchor and general assignment reporter for CBS 21. Through her traffic reports she aims to help central Pennsylvania residents navigate to school and work, and better than a GPS!
Brandi joined the CBS 21 Team in 2015 after spending many years at WBFF FOX45 in Baltimore. She started as an intern in 2002 and worked her way up the ranks, working positions ranging from associate producer, field and special projects producer, assignment manager and traffic reporter. Brandi was responsible for birthing one of their most successful and long running entertainment segments, "Tabloid Tuesday" which she developed and produced weekly. Prior to making her debut in front of the camera, Brandi had her ear to the streets of Baltimore working behind the scenes, while creating the pulsating heartbeat of the newsroom as assignment manager and field producer.
Brandi is a Baltimore native and a Cum Laude graduate of Morgan State University, from where she holds a masters degree in Telecommunications Management. She also holds membership in Alpha Kappa Mu and Golden Key honor societies.
Brandi encourages all youngsters to go after their dreams. She recommends hard work, dedication, networking and most importantly internships in order to succeed in the field of communications. Brandi participates in community service activities and awareness and fundraising events with Shimmering Hope: The Shelia Martin Proctor Foundation (named in honor of her mother) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She continues to be called upon to host and emcee local events and enterprising functions. She has a true spirit and dedication to her work. She enjoys continuing to learn while moving forward and upward in her career.
Brandi is fan of leopard print and anything that sparkles -- sequins, glitter, etc.! She is looking forward to shopping, dining and getting to know the area and CBS 21 viewers. She has spent lots of time in Philadelphia, her mother's hometown, since childhood and is excited to now call central PA her home.
