Dauphin Co. man, 80, recalls being at Super Bowl I
HARRISBURG, Pa. —
Tickets to Super Bowl 50 cost about $5,000 a piece on average.
A man from Linglestown certainly paid a different price when he went to Super Bowl I.
Ken Bowman, 80, is a retired educator and says he was at that game in 1967.
He just so happened to be on a business trip in California when he got to see the Packers defeat the Chiefs.
Getting his tickets ahead of time was a much simpler process than today. It's a good thing he had his stub ready to go since his plane was late and he only got to see the second half.
