ORLANDO -- Penn State is adding to its top-five rated 2018 recruiting class.

Thursday night at the Under Armour All-America game in Orlando - which aired live on ESPN2 - prized New Jersey four-star defensive end recruit Jayson Oweh announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions over Ohio State.

Moments later the Penn State program congratulated Oweh on social media, indicating the high school senior has already signed his letter of intent.

The high school all-star game featured several other future Nittany Lions, including five-star wide receiver Justin Shorter, and five-star running back Ricky Slade who caught a touchdown pass.

Penn State can still add to its highly ranked recruiting class in the coming weeks. The second national signing day is Wednesday, Feb. 7.
