"One Love" is changing lives, one player at a time
A unique event happened at Trinity High School on Tuesday night, it was the first local school to host a workshop sponsored by the group "One Love."
It's in honor of Yeardley Love, a University of Virginia lacrosse player who was killed by her boyfriend.
The players on the boy's lacrosse team at Trinity went through a two hour seminar to learn how to avoid dangerous relationships.
Kathleen Wallace says, "When you look at the statistics one in three women and one in four men will find themselves in the violent relationship before the age of 25. So "One Love" really works to gear everything towards young people."
