Police search for parents of missing child found walking alone in Md. (Baltimore Police)

The parents of a boy found walking alone near a 7-Eleven in Baltimore early Thursday morning have been located, police said.

According to Baltimore Police, the boy between the ages of 3 and 4 was found in the 3400 block of Wilkens Avenue shortly before 5 a.m. Officials say he was unharmed and found by a worker from the St. Agnes Hospital, where he was taken. Police posted on their social media accounts around 6 a.m. that they were unable to locate his parents and need help locating them.

Around 8:30 a.m. Baltimore Police Chief Spokesperson T.J. Smith tweeted that the parents had been located thanks to the help of social media.
