Lonely dog, looking for kids to read to him, is all booked thanks to viral post
A lonely greyhound, looking for kids to read to him, is all booked thanks to a viral Facebook post.
Sting has been part of his local library's "Paws to Read" program, which helps kids practice their reading skills.
The retired race dog has been participating in the program for the past two years, but during his last session, his owner made a Facebook post, saying that unfortunately no kids signed up to read with him.
Photos of the lonely dog quickly went viral.
Now phones are ringing off the hook at the Minnesota library, from people all over the world wanting to read Sting a story.
His owner says that while Sting only visited up to two times a month, he will now come 4 times to accommodate all the readers.
