YWCA of Greater Harrisburg receives large grant to support anti-human trafficking efforts
HARRISBURG, Pa. —
The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg announced it has been awarded a grant worth $150,000.
It was a continuum of care grant given by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The funds will support a rehousing project for victims of human trafficking and their families, as well as homeless youths at risk for becoming victims of human trafficking.
The YWCA is leading an anti-human trafficking effort called the Pennsylvania Alliance Against Trafficking in Humans Route 15.
