Two homes and a business ravaged by early morning fire

Two houses and a business were ravaged by an early morning fire in Cumberland County.

Flames erupted from an art studio behind 421 Enola Drive around 3 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The fire quickly spread to two nearby homes and a taxidermist.

Everyone in the two houses escaped but the flames did plenty of damage.

421 Enola Drive and the taxidermy business appear to be a loss, while 427 sustained a ton of damage.

"Luckily, the eight people in the two houses, everybody got out safely including the family pets," said John Bruetsh. "We do have a large loss between the two houses but the eight people are OK and that's the important thing."

Investigators think the fire started in the art studio but they haven't pinpointed the reason. At this point they don't believe it's suspicious.
