Students from state school seek support from legislators
HARRISBURG, Pa —
It was state system advocacy day at the Capitol today.
Students from the 14 Pennsylvania-owned universities met with legislators to seek support for the state system.
They set up displays to showcase some of their top academic programs and research projects.
The state system is the largest provider of higher education in the commonwealth, it enrolls more than 100,000 degree-seeking students and thousands more in certificate and other career-development programs.
