Sisters arrive in Baltimore from Texas, leaving Harvey to attend funeral

A York mother was finding out her daughter escaped flooding in Houston when she learned another one of her daughters had died.

The hurricane victims arrived in Baltimore for the funeral on Tuesday.

Quenickyia's four kids have nothing but the clothes on their backs.

"They had to get in a boat, and they put all of my family in the boat," said Quenickyia Wilson. "I wish I knew his name today, he was a hometown hero."

We lost everything. We lost everything, right now my house is being gutted.

But the Wilson's were rescued, so at the first opportunity Quenickyia called her mother in Pennsylvania to let her know they were safe.

"While we were on the phone she got a knock on the door, and it was the coroner, telling my mama they found my sister," said Quenickyia.

In one moment her mother found out one daughter was safe, the other dead.

Her body was found in an alley in York.

"We were 11 months 2 weeks apart, she was my first friend," said Quenickyia.

They launched a GoFundMe page, just to get air fare to BWI so they could be here for the funeral.

I literally lost everything.

And she wonders how so many bad things can happen, in just one week.

"We are here today, to bury my sister."
