Police: Woman assaulted and robbed in downtown Harrisburg
HARRISBURG, Pa —
Police say that a woman was assaulted and robbed on Sunday evening in downtown Harrisburg.
The woman was found lying in the middle of Court Street and told police that she was attacked by two men when the left a nearby business and was walking on Court Street.
Witnesses told police that they saw a woman who needed help and alerted Federal Building Security, who then detained one of the men.
Police say that Heath Zachary, 50 of Harrisburg, and another man, who fled, attacked the woman around 5 p.m.
The woman was taken to Hershey Medical Center where she was treated for fractures around her left orbital bone, contusions and small cuts on her face, according to police.
Zachary has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping.
