New GPS receivers installed after 911 outage

New GPS receivers have been installed at seven tower sites after a 9-1-1 paging outage in York County.

Officials say this will allow them to synchronize and get closer to the level of performance they're trying to get back to.

They say it is still unknown when they'll get the rest of the order.

The Strinestown Fire Chief says the outage has taken a toll on the staff. They are all volunteers and some of them have had to stay on duty much longer than normal.
