Local scout awarded Eagle after building patio for Camp Hill fire department

A big honor for a Camp Hill teen. It's an honor that only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted.

Patrick Dorsey received his Eagle Scout award on Sunday night.

His project was for the Camp Hill Fire Department, putting in a patio, benches and a garden in for the first responders.

"Feeling pretty honored, it's fun because I have my two best friends to receive this award with me," said Dorsey. "There is a small percent who achieve this award but we have the reputation that is higher than the national average."

Dorsey says he wanted to give back to the department in honor of his parents, who were both EMT's. His dad is currently a life member of the department.
