Governor's mansion open for holiday tours
If you're trying to get into the Christmas spirit, why not ring in the holiday with a unique tour of the Governor's mansion?
The residence is officially open to the public for holiday tours.
Volunteers worked countless hours to decorate historic rooms like the grand hall, the family dining room, and the Governor's office.
Tours will run through Wednesday, December 13 and on Sunday, December 10 there will be a holiday open house.
Julie Bossert is the Executive Residence Manager. She said, "You can expect to see entertainment in the Grand Hall or in the State Dining Room and also we'll have cookies and HOT CIDER AND HOT CHocolate and it will be a great day..we have a lot of visitors and a lot to see this year."
Saint Nick will be making a special appearance between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the open house on Sunday.
