Interstate 81 in Franklin County re-opens after deadly AM crash

UPDATE: The road re-opened at 10:20am.


Pennsylvania State Police tell CBS21 one man is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 Thursday morning.

The crash involved a sedan and a commercial vehicle at mile marker 15.9 in Guilford Township.

A man in the sedan is dead, according to police.

PennDOT is reporting the accident happened in a northbound lane. All lanes between the US 30-Lincoln Way exit and the Walker Road exit are closed.

The fire department is on the scene.

No other injuries are reported at this time.
