Coroner: Speeding suspected in crash that killed one Monday morning
NEW CUMBERLAND, PA —
Speed is being investigated as a contributing factor in a crash that killed one person in New Cumberland Monday morning, according to Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall.
Cody Allen Garrison, 23, of Camp Hill was killed when he lost control of his car and struck two utility poles on the 1600 block of Bridge Street in New Cumberland early Monday.
The coroner says Garrison was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries. An autopsy will not be performed.
Hall stated in a release speed is a suspected factor in the crash and toxicological studies are pending.
New Cumberland Police are investigating the case.
